Make a Difference

The Cancer Wellness Center receives operating support through the generosity of individuals, foundations, corporations, and businesses. Donations make it possible to offer our services to cancer survivors and family members free of charge. Each and every donation is vital to the Center and more importantly, to those who’s lives are affected by cancer.

The Center is a private, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, so your donations are tax deductible within the limits of the tax laws.

We need your support
and our participants need your support. Everyday the Center helps people to live better while living with cancer. The generosity of donors like you allows us to provide services free of charge. Please consider a donation to the Cancer Wellness Center.



I have been associated with the Cancer Wellness Center for many years and I have seen how their services have touched so many lives in this community. The stresses and strains—both emotional and financial—that are placed on individuals and families are often nearly overwhelming which is why all services at the center are free of charge. I believe they make such an important difference in the lives of people living with cancer and in the life of the community.

So I ask you join with me, the other members of the Board of Directors, and the hundreds of individuals, companies, and foundations that support this center through donations of money and time. Your help will truly make a difference.

Tributes
The Center offers the opportunity to make a tribute gift to honor an event in someone's life; birthdays, anniversaries, survivorship, or in memory of a loved one. Your tribute is acknowledged through a note card sent to the recipient. The gift amount is confidential, we only acknowledge the sentiment. Donate now

Memorials
Designating the Center as the choice for charitable contributions through a loved one’s obituary creates a living memorial for that person. In addition, this public notification helps create greater awareness of the Cancer Wellness Center and the possibility it may become a resource for others living with cancer. The name of your loved one will be added to the memorial plaque permanently displayed in the Center. Call for information.

Grapevine Sculpture
The Center is pleased to provide both a beautiful, meaningful and permanent way for you to memorialize or honor a loved one. We commissioned a Grape Vine Sculpture that is prominently displayed at the Center. It continues to ‘grow’ as support for the Center grows. Leaves in different colors and sizes and grapes that may contain up to 10 names are available for inscription. Call for information.

Corporate Sponsorship
The Center invites corporations to sponsor a variety of our fundraising events throughout the year. The events include, the Stepping Up to Wellness 5K Run/Walk, Annual Benefit, Annual Golf Invitational, Library Benefit and a several Professional Conferences. In return the Center will do our best to reach out to make the community aware of your corporations support for important work on behalf of cancer survivors and their loved ones. Day of Remembrance
The Center honors the memory of those who have been a part of the Cancer Wellness Center family, either personally or through a loved one with an annual Day of Remembrance.

The Center is also happy to accept endowments, bequests and stock gifts.
