healthcare organization that provides home-based care, hospice services,
grief support, symptom management and assistance with care planning. With
a central office in Glenview, Illinois, four regional offices in the Chicago
area, a dedicated inpatient unit for hospice patients when medically necessary,
and programs for various age groups, we serve approximately 1,500 individuals
each day. Palliative care is the framework for all of the services we
provide for those who face serious or complex illnesses, chronic or age-related
health conditions, or the end of life. We focus on enhancing quality of
life for the patient and his or her family, no matter the diagnosis or
prognosis.
