Nature Hike

Wednesday, August 13 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm CDT

Free

Captain Daniel Wright Woods Forest Preserve

24830 N St Mary’s Rd,

Mettawa, IL

Research demonstrates that outdoor exercise, such as hiking, offers health and well-being benefits. Join us for a nature meditation followed by a 3-mile hike. Please wear comfortable hiking or running shoes, bring a water bottle and dress for the weather. The hiking terrain is not paved, and we may encounter irregular surface paths – all part of the beauty and joy of the hike!

Presented by: Kimberly Matthews, MA, LCPC; Megan McMahon, PhD

This program is open to all CWC Participants.

RSVP below to register.

Hike will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.

NOTE: The parking lot entrance is at the intersection of St. Mary’s and Everett Roads, south of Route 60. The address will not always take you to the parking lot.
