Virtual: Yoga Workshop: Relax and Restore

In this restorative yoga workshop you will learn to deeply relax and nourish the body, mind and spirit. Experience the alchemy of Stillness, Opening, and Surrender – Yoga SOS! Restorative Yoga cultivates our innate capacity to calm our mind and body and counteract the effects of stress. Potential benefits include improved sleep and digestion, lower anxiety, reduced muscle tension, stronger immunity and health, and a greater sense of well-being.
Blankets and props will be used to support the body in positions of comfort and ease. Poses are held longer to promote deep relaxation. The class will offer techniques that can be done easily and safely at home. All levels welcome.
