Virtual: What is Lymphedema? Understand Your Risk After Surgery & Tips for Lifestyle Balance.

Participants will become familiar with the causes of lymphedema and what the lymphatic system does for the body.

A licensed occupational therapist with advanced specialty training in lymphedema management will instruct in the personal risk factors may put one at higher risk for developing lymphedema after cancer treatment. Attendees will be instructed in healthy lifestyle habits to promote lymphatic function, ways to minimize wear and tear on the lymphatic system over time and steps to take should lymphedema occur.

PLEASE NOTE:

*Registration closes at 8pm the evening before the program

*Program opens for log-in 15 minutes prior to the start time

*An email with log-in instructions will be sent the evening before the program and a reminder 2 hours prior to the start of the program
