 \nMeet outside the Nature Center\, adjacent to the parking lot.\n\nJoin us 
 for a “Choose Your Adventure” hike at the beautiful River Trail Nature 
 Center. We’ll begin together promptly at 11:00 a.m. and follow a scenic 2
 -mile round-trip route from the Nature Center south to the Des Plaines Rive
 r viewpoint and back.\n\nParticipants who would like a longer hike are welc
 ome to continue with us for an additional 2 miles\, exploring the looping n
 ature trails and route toward Allison Woods before returning. Whether you c
 hoose the shorter or longer option\, you’ll enjoy the natural beauty of t
 he preserve while hiking at a pace and distance that works best for you.\n\
