SUMMARY:Virtual - Finding Strength in Movement: Role of Exercise in Cancer 
 Prevention\, Treatment\, and Survivorship
DESCRIPTION:Research shows that regular exercise and movement can be a mean
 ingful way to support physical and emotional well-being when navigating a c
 ancer diagnosis.\n\nJoin Sara Reynolds and Maggie Keller\, Integrative Onco
 logy Nurse Practitioners at Endeavor Health\, to learn about the role of ex
 ercise in cancer care. In this lecture\, they will review physical activity
  recommendations tailored for individuals affected by cancer\, discuss the 
 benefits of exercise\, and present research on how regular movement can low
 er the risk of developing several types of cancer. The session will also ex
 plore how exercise can support patients during treatment by helping to mana
 ge side effects and improve quality of life.\n\nThis educational lecture wi
 ll be a kick-off to Wellness in Action\, an initiative promoting movement-b
 ased activities to support wellbeing for individuals impacted by cancer. Op
