Men’s Hiking for Health & Happiness

Please meet outside of the Wildlife Discovery Center at Middlefork Savanna, 1401 Middlefork Drive, Lake Forest, IL 60045

Research demonstrates that outdoor exercise, such as hiking, offers health and well-being benefits. Join the group for a brief nature meditation followed by a two-mile hike. Please arrive no later than 3:00 pm, wear comfortable hiking or running shoes, bring a water bottle and dress for the weather. The hiking terrain is not paved and we may encounter irregular surface paths – all part of the beauty and joy of the hike!

Meet next to the parking lot 15 minutes before the start time.

The Preserve/Farm entrance is located off of Waukegan Road, South of SR 176 (Rockland Road) but north of SR 60. Take Middlefork Drive to its conclusion and then bear left to enter the parking lot.
