Cancer Wellness Center is committed to supporting the professional community with ongoing education focused on the cancer experience.

Professional Consultation

Practicum, Externship, & Internship Opportunities

Our training program prepares graduate students for the specialized field of psychosocial oncology. Trainees gain hands-on experience providing counseling and support to individuals and families impacted by cancer, while developing professional skills essential for clinical practice. Through weekly supervision, group consultation, and didactic seminars, trainees learn to apply evidence-based interventions across diverse cases.

The program offers a unique opportunity to learn from a multidisciplinary team committed to whole-person care, integrating mental health, wellness, and education to support those navigating cancer.

Training year runs from August through June. Applications are accepted January 1 through mid-February.
