Please meet outside of the Wildlife Discovery Center at Middlefork Savanna, 1401 Middlefork Drive, Lake Forest, IL 60045
Research demonstrates that outdoor exercise, such as hiking, offers health and well-being benefits. Join us outside the Discovery Center for a nature meditation followed by a two mile hike. Please arrive no later than 10:00 am, wear comfortable hiking or running shoes, bring a water bottle and dress for the weather. The hiking terrain is not paved and we may encounter irregular surface paths – all part of the beauty and joy of the hike! Hike will be cancelled in the event of rain.
