Cancer Wellness Center is here to help anyone touched by cancer find a way forward. Each year, our free counseling services, support groups, and health and nutrition programs serve over 2,000 community members of all ages and backgrounds. People with cancer, family members, friends, and caregivers all come to us to connect and cope.
With guidance from a caring team of professionals and comfort from a participant community who gets it, our holistic services offer a space to make sense of the diagnosis that changed your life — and navigate whatever comes next.

CWC Community Health Worker
The bilingual Community Health Worker (CHW) or Promotor(a) de Salud is a trusted member of the Latine community and serves as a frontline public health worker who is responsible for owning relationships and educating community partner organizations and individual community members about cancer and the Cancer Wellness Center. CWC Outreach Volunteer
The role involves professionally representing the Center at community events, health fairs, and outreach opportunities by warmly and knowledgeably sharing its mission and services. The representative will convey key messaging, including approved personal stories or testimonials, and promote the Center’s free services like counseling, support groups, wellness programs, and educational workshops.
