Barbara Demovsky Pritikin Memorial Library Luncheon
The Barbara Demovsky Pritikin Memorial Library is the heart of the Center where participants come together to share a cup of tea or coffee. The library is also a place for reading and quiet reflection. Participants can peruse our various digital and print resources intended to support their individual journeys, including information on community events, finding inspiration, cookbooks, caregiving, beauty & aging, and even things to make you laugh. The newest addition to the library is a kids’ nook filled with activities and books for our youngest visitors.
At our annual CWC Library Luncheon guests enjoy a dynamic speaker, shopping boutique, and delicious luncheon. Attendees have heard from a variety of speakers spanning political consultants, authors, and even a spiritual medium.
Although the 2020 Library Luncheon was cancelled, our community continued to help the Center. Supporter had the opportunity to purchase personally autographed copies of “The Unbreakables” by award winning author Lisa Barr and raffle tickets to win one of our fabulous prizes, including a $1,000 cash prize.
