Hiking for Health and Happiness
Please meet at Brushwood Center in Ryerson Woods Forest Preserve, 21950 North Riverwoods Road, Riverwoods, IL
Research demonstrates that outdoor exercise, such as hiking, offers health and well-being benefits. Join us at Brushwood Center in the Ryerson Woods Forest Preserve, 21950 North Riverwoods Road, Riverwoods, IL for a nature meditation followed by a two mile hike. Please arrive no later than 11:00 am, wear comfortable hiking or running shoes, bring a water bottle and dress for the weather. The hiking terrain is not paved and we may encounter irregular surface paths – all part of the beauty and joy of the hike! Hike will be cancelled in the event of rain.

Participants will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing during the duration of the hike.
Meet outside the Brushwood Center entrance by 11:00 am – promptness is important so allow time for walking from the parking lot! Brushwood parking lot and Brushwood Center can be found on the Forest Preserve Map. Please note: take the first left when you enter the forest preserve.
