CWC Staff Chat: Palliative Care & Hospice

Last month, at our June CWC Staff Chat, we had the opportunity to talk to Julie Grandolfo from JourneyCare.

Our Clinical Manager, Priscilla Andrews, MA, LCPC, and Julie discussed the differences between palliative and hospice care and the ways these services can benefit patients and their families. They explored the role and value of supportive care alongside cancer treatments to increase patients’ quality of life and resiliency while in treatment.
