Self-Care for the Caregiver

This is a hybrid program offered both in-person at the Cancer Wellness Center and virtually on Zoom
In this workshop, participants will learn techniques to relax and nourish the body, mind, and spirit. The simple breath synchronized movements and meditation techniques taught in this workshop help promote the type of self-awareness that allows practitioners to cultivate their innate capacity to calm the body and mind and counteract the effects of stress. Participants will learn a sequence of chair yoga poses as well as simple techniques for meditation that can be done easily and safely anywhere.
No Yoga experience is necessary. All fitness levels are welcome. Wear comfortable clothing.

All participants must provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination and sign a waiver upon arrival to attend all in-person classes. Masks are required in the building
