Virtual: Ask Elyssa: Families and Cancer

Do you have questions about talking to children about a cancer diagnosis? Join us for a quick session for an opportunity to learn from our center’s Child Life Specialist. The role of a child life specialist is to assist families navigate their cancer experience. Working with kids of all ages by facilitating activities targeted at decreasing anxiety, developing coping strategies, providing a sense of control, and fostering resiliency in both children as well as their families. Please submit questions related to that topic when you register.
