Stress Management through Mind/Body Awareness and Somatic Movement

Our emotional and physical wellbeing are intricately connected. Not only do our minds affect our bodies, but our bodies can also be used in positive healing approaches throughout our cancer journeys.
During our time together you’ll learn to use your Body and Mind together in open, caring, powerful ways to improve your emotional, mental and physical wellbeing.
Through experimentation and play we’ll explore the connections between your body and mind, as well as the emotions and feelings you experience that can shift so rapidly.
You’ll learn BodyMind healing approaches including gentle movement experiments, body awareness techniques, breathing, meditation, embodiment, the principles of aikido, mindfulness, as well as many somatic movement & education skills.

Attendance at all sessions is recommended but not an absolute necessity.
