Hike the Jean & John Greene Nature Preserve, Lake Forest Open Lands which is located north of Fort Sheridan Forest Preserve. We will meet at the Fort Sheridan military cemetery parking lot and walk north as a group to access the Greene Nature Preserve. This 3-mile loop includes stairs from the top of the ravines down to the beach.

Research demonstrates that outdoor exercise, such as hiking, offers health and well-being benefits. Join us for a nature meditation followed by a 3-mile hike. Please wear comfortable hiking or running shoes, bring a water bottle and dress for the weather. The hiking terrain is not paved and we may encounter irregular surface paths – all part of the beauty and joy of the hike!
